Whoever Seeks for Essence · Whoever Integrates Actuality
⁘ “Whoever in this world sought the essence — whoever cared for its integration. One in a thousand may pay attention. One of these 1000 may become absorbed. One of these 1000 may reach victorious to the other side. What are you doing?”
For whoever in this world that sought the essence
and whoever that sought for its integration.
manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu
kaścid yatati siddhaye |
yatatām api siddhānāṁ
kaścin māṁ vetti tattvataḥ ||
"Among the thousands of humans,
one may seek for fulfillment –
and among those thousand fulfilled,
rarely one knows me in truth."
So one in a thousand may pay attention,
of the thousand attending one may become absorbed,
and of the thousand absorbed,
but one may reach victorious to the other side,
witness the fullness of actuality as it is.
So you know, gobble up what you can, digest as you may,
it's all basically good stuff.
