Whatever that fits our fancy,
that we see – the rest of it we don't.
Case in point, this here little sermon.
99.9% of you will pass by, will not register,
will not respond, because it's inconvenient.
You would much rather that you could unhear this,
that all of this would just go away, stop bugging you,
and you could return to your padded illusions.
And yes, my friend, you have that freedom of choice.
You can bypass the face of reality,
you can not attend, not recognize, not respond to what is.
Instead, moving on in your evolution into a meaningless blob.
The more you bypass, the more you refuse to recognize,
the more your cognitive circuits degrade.
In time, you will meet the fulfillment of your aspirations
as a single cell organism in the primordial ooze.
When there, don't go tripping on amino acids.
It results in the growth of complexity,
and you need to deal with it all over again.
How curious the cycle of life,
our tales of evolution and devolution.
For your information, though,
you can also cross beyond the threshold,
deal with everything as it is,
recognize the full spectrum of reality,
and see what lies beyond.
